In a world dominated by conversations about keeping each other safe, it comes as no surprise that we have to put a COVID-19 policy in place. We made this policy to keep everyone safe so we can hopefully get back to normal soon.

Kokomo Pride takes this CCOVID-19 Policy and the safety of all members of the Community extremely seriously. Any person not following these policies will be asked to leave any Kokomo Pride hosted event. No exceptions. If someone refuses to follow the policy AND refused to leave the activity or event, police may become involved.
Masks will not be required in Kokomo Pride’s LGBTQ+ Center including the Novak Community Room unless a gathering of 5 or more people is taking place in one room. The moment a 5th person joins a meeting, event or activity, or even walks into the room, masks must be donned by everyone in the room.
COVID-19 vaccines will not be required however, they are EXTREMELY encouraged.
If a member of Kokomo Pride’s Board or a volunteer is exposed to COVID-19, they must quarantine and will not be welcome in the building for at least 10 calendar days. On the 11th day, should they be asymptomatic, they can return to the building. The Board member and/or volunteer will not be able to represent Kokomo Pride in the public in person at events until the 10 days is passed.
If a member of Kokomo Pride’s Board or a volunteer tests positive for COVID-19, they must stay home and seek appropriate treatment from a qualified medical professional. Only upon a negative test will they be able to return to the building. In the event of a positive test, no work on behalf of Kokomo Pride may be conducted in person. All work must be virtual or remote until a negative test is presented.
All steps necessary and appropriate will be taken to allow volunteers and board members to continue working from home while quarantined.
